FAQ
13
Do you provide operation manuals and technical documentation with the machine?

Yes. Meixin provides operation manuals and a series of teaching videos to support customers with machine operation, adjustment, and basic maintenance after delivery.

These materials serve as practical references for operators and can be used together with the factory training provided by Meixin, helping customers build a more complete understanding of their brush-making equipment. For overseas customers, the manuals and videos are particularly useful for training additional operators and reviewing operating procedures after installation.

Meixin also provides ongoing technical support when customers encounter operational or maintenance questions — if your team has specific training or documentation requirements, please discuss them with us before shipment.

14
What installation guidance and training does Meixin provide?

Meixin provides 2–3 days of factory training and machine inspection for customers who visit our facility, and covers accommodation and meals at the factory during the relevant training period. During the training, customers learn about machine operation, adjustment, basic maintenance, and production procedures while inspecting the equipment directly, gaining practical experience before the machine is shipped and reducing the learning curve after installation.

For overseas customers who cannot visit the factory, Meixin can also provide operation manuals, teaching videos, and remote technical support. Contact Meixin to discuss the most suitable training arrangement for your team.

15
What is the acceptance procedure prior to shipment? Do you provide videos of the machine in operation?

Yes. Before shipment, Meixin conducts machine inspection and testing to verify that the equipment operates properly and meets the agreed production requirements. The acceptance process may include machine performance checks, operation testing, component inspection, and final confirmation.

Meixin can also provide inspection pictures and operation videos so customers can review the machine's actual running condition before shipment — particularly useful for overseas customers who cannot visit the factory in person. Where applicable, testing records and other acceptance-related documentation can also be provided as part of the pre-shipment process; if required, we can discuss the specific testing and acceptance items for your machine.

16
What quality certifications and inspection documents are available for Meixin machines?

Meixin provides CE and ISO-related certification documentation for its brush-making machinery, supporting customers who require compliance documentation for international procurement and equipment installation. The applicable certification and documentation may vary depending on the machine model, configuration, and the customer's market requirements.

Before shipment, Meixin also carries out machine inspection and testing to verify key functions and operating performance. For customers purchasing machinery for overseas factories, these documents help support equipment acceptance and import-related requirements — if your country or project requires specific certification or documentation, please inform Meixin during the quotation stage so we can confirm the applicable documents.

17
How should routine maintenance and servicing be performed?

Regular maintenance is essential for keeping a Meixin brush-making machine operating efficiently and reliably. Routine servicing generally includes machine cleaning, lubrication, inspection of wearing parts, and checking electrical and mechanical components, with parts replaced when necessary.

Operators should monitor components that experience normal wear and tear during drilling and tufting operations — keeping the machine clean and properly lubricated helps reduce unnecessary wear and production interruptions. Meixin provides operation manuals, maintenance guidelines, teaching videos, and technical support to help customers establish appropriate maintenance routines; following the recommended maintenance schedule extends equipment service life and helps maintain stable production performance.

18
What should we do if the brush-making machine malfunctions?

If a machine malfunction occurs, stop the machine immediately. The issue can usually be identified through machine alarm information, operating conditions, and technical diagnosis.

Meixin provides remote technical support, troubleshooting guidance, and assistance from experienced engineers to help customers identify the cause and restore production as quickly as possible. Depending on the situation, our technical team may request operating information, photos, videos, or other details to assist with diagnosis; for issues requiring further intervention, we can provide additional technical guidance or spare-parts support.

19
Can a brush making machine run 24 hours a day?

Yes — Meixin brush-making machines are built for continuous industrial production and can support long-hour operation, including 24-hour production, under appropriate working conditions. Stable long-term operation depends on:

Continuous operation should also be managed according to the specific machine model and production requirements — proper maintenance is essential for minimizing downtime and maintaining consistent production performance.

  • Correct machine installation and settings
  • Proper operator procedures
  • Regular cleaning and lubrication
  • Timely replacement of wearing parts
  • Suitable factory conditions and power supply
20
Does the machine have safety protection devices?

Yes. Meixin brush-making machines are equipped with necessary safety protection features according to the machine structure and production requirements, including emergency stop buttons, protective covers, safety sensors, and other safety measures.

These devices help reduce operational risks and provide additional protection for operators during drilling, tufting, and other production processes. However, machine safety also depends on correct installation, operation, and regular maintenance — operators should follow the provided operating instructions and safety procedures when using the equipment.

Meixin considers both production efficiency and operator safety when designing its brush machinery; for specific machine models, we can provide detailed information about the applicable safety devices and operating requirements.

21
What tools should customers prepare for operating and maintaining the machine?

Before operating a Meixin brush-making machine, customers should prepare several basic tools for daily operation, adjustment, and maintenance: an air gun, clean engine oil, hex keys, wrenches, locking pliers, and suitable grinding tools. These tools are mainly used for routine cleaning, lubrication, component adjustment, tightening, and minor maintenance work, helping operators handle basic machine maintenance efficiently and reduce unnecessary downtime.

The exact tools required may vary depending on the machine model and its configuration — Meixin can provide operating and maintenance guidance and confirm the recommended tool list for your model in advance.

22
Which PLC system and touchscreen does Meixin use in its machines?

Meixin brush-making machines use the AMC1600 (ADTECH) control system for machine operation and process management. The control system provides stable machine control and supports practical operation requirements in brush manufacturing processes, including parameter adjustment, production control, and machine movement management — important for maintaining consistent performance, especially for machines performing precise operations such as drilling and tufting.

Combined with Meixin's mechanical design and manufacturing experience, the control system helps ensure stable operation and efficient production for different brush applications. For specific machine models or control requirements, contact Meixin and our team can provide detailed technical information.

23
What is the approximate installation space required for Meixin machines?

A standard tufting machine requires approximately 2 square meters of floor space; a drilling and tufting machine generally requires about 3–4 square meters due to the additional drilling function and machine structure. When planning the factory layout, customers should also consider additional space for:

Meixin can provide machine dimensions and layout suggestions before shipment to help customers prepare the installation area in advance — contact Meixin with your factory layout requirements, and we can help plan a suitable machine installation arrangement.

  • Operator movement
  • Raw material storage
  • Brush base loading and unloading
  • Auxiliary equipment

24
What are the voltage and frequency requirements for your equipment?

Meixin machines can be configured to different electrical standards required by customers in different countries and markets: Voltage 380V / 220V; Frequency 50Hz / 60Hz. Before production, Meixin confirms the customer's local electrical requirements to ensure that the machine is suitable for installation and operation at the customer's facility.

Since different countries may have different power standards, providing accurate electrical information during the quotation and ordering stage helps avoid installation issues after delivery. Please inform Meixin of your country and factory power requirements, and we will prepare the appropriate machine configuration accordingly.
